THE LAST OF THE HONKY-TONK ANGELS

HarperCollins
Rating: 4 and 1/2 stars

TOP PICK! Lucy Hatch and Ash Farrell have been living together for three months. Things are going well, until his past comes to visit. An ex-wife with a new job and a teenage daughter with nowhere to stay change their lives dramatically. Then there?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢s that little surprise Lucy discovers about herself. Finding the perfect time to share this with Ash really complicates things. As it turns out, she?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢s not the only one with a secret.

THE LAST OF THE HONKY-TONK ANGELS is a book you won?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢t want to put down. Told in the first person by both Lucy and Ash?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢s daughter, the characters are depicted vividly, and the scenes have an ?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ??¨in the moment?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ? quality. The unexpected gems of humor throughout the story are excellent. Although you?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢ll enjoy it even if you haven?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢t already read The Second Coming of Lucy Hatch, I recommend doing so.
